The host was great, very responsive, and gave good advice for getting around, even arranging a taxi to Mestre station if needed. Breakfast was good, the location was excellent, and transport to Venice was just outside the apartment. The host had tickets for transport on hand. The apartment was spacious. No negatives.

It’s a small, cozy house with a bus right next to it that goes into Venice, and parking is available. The owner was very friendly; we arrived late at night because we were delayed with a car rental, and he was still there waiting to help us with parking. The parking lot is right next to the house. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. I liked it a lot and recommend it. No negatives.

A lovely little B&B in the heart of Mestre, 15 minutes by bus to Venice. The host was extremely kind, explained everything and showed me around, and was always in touch. Breakfasts were tasty. I didn’t understand the issue with the water; it takes about five minutes to heat up and get hot water from the tap, but that’s not the first time in Italy, so it isn’t a problem with the hotel.
