The furnishings were worn and lifeless, and an unpleasant odor bothered us. The location is inconvenient for pilgrims. The host kindly picked us up from the train station, otherwise we wouldn’t have found the apartment.

The room was spacious, had a mini‑fridge, a small kitchenette, a table with two chairs, and a wardrobe. With the curtains open it was very bright and the price was good. It got unbearably hot; the chimney’s “penguin” pipe caused the walls to heat up, turning the room into a furnace and negating the penguin’s effect. The fan alone wasn’t enough, so sometimes it was unpleasant to stay in the room because of the excessive heat. The bathroom was also very hot, and the bed was always scorching. The bathroom felt too small and lacked a bidet (there is a shower next to the toilet). The single bed was missing, the TV wouldn’t turn on, and a bulb had blown. At night, even with the lights on, the room wasn’t well illuminated. There were mosquito nets on all windows, but they weren’t properly secured in the corners, so mosquitoes still got in.

The location is close to the city centre, but the windows need mosquito nets and the fact that it’s on the 4th floor without an elevator should be highlighted for older guests.

The owner is very kind and helpful, and the attic comes with a portable air‑conditioner. The attic is very nice and spacious, as mentioned, and it’s on the fourth floor.
