The property does not fully match what is shown on Booking. The relaxed attitude of the person who greeted me about my complaint regarding the front door was helpful.
“Berbat”
There was nothing to like beyond the bed and the room itself. Being on the street and having thin windows made it impossible to sleep because of cars, trains, buses, and people. The shared bathroom made it hard to stay quiet when using the toilet, and the toilet and room doors creaked loudly. We only saw the owner when handing over the key and paying, and we didn’t see him again. We left the key in the mailbox. Finally, it’s not free at all; if you’re looking for cheap, avoid making the same mistake.
“Nie zawsze może być perfekcyjnie, ale z racji że tam tylko spaliśmy, było idealnie.”
The distance to the city center is short, close to the metro, bus stops, a pharmacy, and several bakeries—so you could stay on the same street and buy everything you need. The price and availability give a huge advantage, and the owner, who we met every morning, was chatty, eager to help, and answered all our questions—exactly the right person in the right place.
The location is great, tucked in a nice corner with restaurants and excellent free public transport links. The host is friendly and easily reachable, and the room’s beds are comfortable and warm. Kitchen facilities are limited, but there is a kettle. The dishes in the kitchen weren’t very clean, though they were fine if you washed them yourself. Otherwise okay. The window couldn’t be fully closed, but that wasn’t a major issue.
The room is spacious with comfortable beds, but the shower in the bathroom is too small. Wi‑Fi is good. The kitchen is basically unusable; there is only a fridge.
