The accommodation is in a quiet setting with a kind staff, excellent wellness facilities, and truly clean rooms. We were worried about the rooms based on online photos because they weren’t well lit, but we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Our room door could be opened without a keycard; a stronger push was enough.

The building is beautiful, the room was clean and comfortable, parking was free, breakfasts were good, and the staff were friendly. There were no negatives.

The pension is very nice, though it sits on a steep hill, but the accommodation is worth it; the surroundings are well maintained. We stayed in an apartment that was spacious and airy with high ceilings, the mattresses were fine (not sagging and appropriately firm). The bathroom was roomy, clean, and very pretty, with clean and soft towels. The apartment also included a kitchen, well equipped with dishes, cutlery, glasses, etc. There was a kettle and a microwave, but no stove or double plate. A small fridge was also part of the kitchen. Breakfast was adequate – no need to wait like in a 13‑floor hotel, you could just go. There were cheeses, salads, ham, butter, fresh bread, yogurts, some fruit, jams, cornflakes. On request, they would cook eggs, sausages, omelette, and hemendex; the eggs were dry‑cooked, which didn’t appeal to us but might suit someone else, depending on taste. Good coffee pleased us. The pension advertises a wellness facility, which is true, but we couldn’t try it. Even though guests, both staying and non‑staying, have access, we were unable to use the wellness during the three nights we stayed because there were no available slots; the only slot offered was a 2‑hour window around lunch, which didn’t suit us. The website should state that the wellness must be booked in advance, and the pension should have informed us of this during the room booking. That would have been fair.
