The buffet Breakfast was excellent with an amazing choice of cooked food, fruit, cereal, yogurts and much more. On the other hand the choice for the evening meal was limited and although nicely presented sometimes the meat was on the tough side. The chicken was dry. however everything else was tiptop

Troutbeck lives up to its reputation as a Zimbabwean institution. The décor feels a bit dated, yet the rooms remain clean and the staff and service are very good. The surroundings are beautiful, just as I remembered from years ago. The food was great, with excellent breakfasts and a choice of buffet or menu ordering for other meals, both of which were superb.
