The staff were courteous, but the pillows had a mold smell, which was fully resolved quickly and efficiently by the room‑service lady Mércia.

The spot is great—close to everything, rooms spotless, staff friendly, breakfast solid. But the building feels neglected: loose carpets, broken fixtures, a faded sign that still says Mercury. It gives off a vibe of almost abandonment.

The location is fine, but the bathroom was a nightmare—cracked mirror, mold, damp spots, and the exhaust fan was dead. I’ve stayed here before and it’s clear maintenance has slipped. With the high rate, I won’t be back; better to pick another place in the area.

The room was spacious and super clean, staff were helpful and polite, and the breakfast spread was good. The hotel’s close to the beach, which is a plus. On the downside, the mattress was too soft and noisy—bad for my back. We only had one towel in the bathroom, so we had to ask for more. There were no 220 V outlets, so I couldn’t use my iron without an adapter. Also, the hallway light spills into the room, which is annoying.
