“Disappointing experience”

The view of the mountains was nice. We wanted to go for a short hike and this was the best we could find. The shower curtain was coming off, the kitchen was quite dirty, the bed was broken and the bedsheets had a funky smell 😢 The owner was doing some repairs; at 8:30 PM he was drilling next to our room… so many dogs around… the worst was the leak in the bathroom (we think it came from under the shower basin); the water was not draining at all and the floor was wet, very uncomfortable…

The place was quiet and the owner and staff were incredibly friendly and cheerful.

The hosts were welcoming, and there was a motorcycle parking spot behind the gate.

The conditions were great and the hosts were helpful. The pool was the cherry on top, perfect for hot days or after a long walk on the mountain trails, and the trails start right next to the house.

“Eine gute Unterkunft, um Pause zu machen.”

The location at the foot of the ancient “Donau-Berge” (hiking trails to the peaks) was wonderful. The pool was clean and the grounds generous. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and spoke excellent English. The rooms, hallways, and kitchen were very clean. We had everything we needed in the room, and the balcony door had a mosquito net. Walking around the block was easy. The shower drain doesn’t work well, but there are absorbent pads to wipe the water away.
