The pool was large and beautiful, and the family room was spacious with a separate bedroom for the parents. The shower had warm water, and the reception was very friendly, offering a welcome drink. The sunset was stunning, and the location was close to the Tangi gate, though the road to get there was in poor condition and under reconstruction. We felt a little awkward and lonely, but the place couldn’t do much about that. Mosquitoes were everywhere. It was fun that they set up a campfire in the evenings, but the logs around the fire were very uncomfortable; having chairs would have made a world of difference. The rules require the fans to be turned off after 9 pm, but that makes the rooms feel stuffy, so we tried to keep the windows open at night, yet the frames of the mosquito screens left gaps along the sides, letting mosquitoes in. There were mosquito nets, but walking around the room or bathroom still got you bitten.
