I was woken by a cockroach scratching at my leg, and later saw two spiders on the ceiling while the bedside light was on; we fled the room quickly, drove home at midnight, and the next day called the front desk, but the receptionist offered no apology.

The management was super helpful and the hotel is conveniently close to a truck stop for take‑away dinner, though the building itself feels old and could use some TLC.

I wanted a safe, clean place that didn’t cost a fortune, and the bed was comfy and the room suitable, but the outside area was a bit untidy with rubbish on the ground.

The rooms were larger than they appeared from the outside, came with plenty of extra blankets and were very warm, yet dishes from the previous guest were still in the dishwasher, food was left in the fridge, the carpet looked unvacuumed, and a three‑bed apartment had only one toilet in the main bathroom.
