The breakfast was wonderful, the bathroom had been refreshed, the bed was comfortable, and the bedroom was generally very spacious, but it would be nice to have a kettle with a selection of teas or infusions in every room.

The staff were all courteous and friendly, but we wished the rooms had a small kettle and a modest selection of coffee and tea.

We came on a spur‑of‑the‑moment trip for one night with two adults and a dog, and we loved it! We’ve visited Borkum many times, but this was our first stay at the Seehotel. We’ll definitely return! The staff were super friendly, the hotel had a cool old‑school vibe, and it was all very clean and hassle‑free. Our dog enjoyed a bed, snacks, toys, and blankets in the summer, and we’re thrilled to come back. Breakfast could also be enjoyed with the dog in a separate room, which was great, and the food itself was excellent. The hotel’s location is a 10/10: it’s very close to the train station and the beach.
