The location is great, the place is very pretty and traditional, and the staff are very friendly! I’d recommend it. The only downside is a slight smell of damp wood, but it’s not annoying—just a note for the owners of the old building.

L’emplacement est parfait et considérant que c’était le festival d’automne, nous étions vraiment au centre des principales activités. La procédure de check-in à l’aide d’une tablette et d’une réception virtuelle était super malgré un petit enjeu concernant la prise de photo de nos passeports (la caméra semble désynchronisée, mais c’est un détail). Nous avions une chambre avec deux lits simples superposés qui étaient confortables et tout était propre. Le déjeuner qui se faisait dans un autre espace à 1 minute à pied était simple mais bien. Nous avons pu laisser nos bagages devant la réception durant la journée. Il n’y a pas beaucoup d’espace et c’est à la vue de tous, mais c’est tout de même pratique. Nous avons adoré le personnel qui a été vraiment génial et super aidant. Nous aurions apprécié qu’il y ait une petite table et une chaise dans la chambre. Il y a suffisamment d’espace pour cela

The spot is awesome, close to Kōgane-cho, and I even grabbed a skewer of freshly grilled beef before heading to the highland area. The kettle in the lounge wasn’t clean, so I didn’t feel comfortable using it for tea.
