The location was a plus because the accommodation sits right on the exhibition site, which made everything convenient. The price feels too high, but I guess the spot is so attractive for exhibitors that they can charge whatever they want. The rooms are very simply furnished, yet the bed is fine. The kitchen is fairly well equipped, and the fridge is neatly organized with a space for each room. The downside was that from Friday to Monday no staff were visible. The trash cans in the bathrooms overflowed, and the door code didn’t work on Saturday. We tried calling and texting but got no response. We had to use a back door with a large stone to get in and out.

“Kommer aldrig mer att bo där.”

The surroundings were the best part of the stay. The room was small with comfortable beds, but there were poor storage options for bags and clothes, only one chest where clothes and breakfast items were cramped together with everything else we brought. Unfortunately there was no ventilation in the room and no mosquito net on the window, making it hard to keep the window open at night. The kitchen and dining area were large and nice. There were many toilets but only a ceiling shower in the shower area. Cleaning was poor, especially in the toilets; soap ran out after two days, as did toilet paper and paper towels. Trash cans were overflowing throughout the building. The worst part was that no staff were available all weekend. The door code for the outer door stopped working and no one answered the hostel’s phone number. For the money we paid for four nights at the hostel, we could have stayed at a good functioning hotel inside Visby. But the area is very nice.

The location of the accommodation is perfect! Close to Visby, the lake is peaceful, and the nature is wonderful to enjoy!

“trevligt :)”

The room looked exactly like the pictures. The beds were fine and very close to our dog show. Good kitchen and dining area, easy check‑in because everything was self‑service. The only complaint was that it was very quiet.

The accommodation is okay for people with companion dogs. Nothing else noteworthy.
