“Clean, well located and a very friendly host”
The place is clean, spacious, and feels like a Roman resident’s home; we booked a room with an external bathroom, which was communicated ahead of time and kept us private since other rooms had en‑suite bathrooms. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave, and coffee machine, but nearby eateries make those appliances optional. The metro is close (two stops on the red line: Re di Roma and San Giovanni, and one on the green line: Porta Metronia) and a bus stop sits right outside the building, so getting around Rome is easy. The Colosseum is a 15–20 minute walk away. The neighborhood is pleasant and a bit removed from the city center’s bustle, which is nice. For the price and location, there’s hardly anything better; only the pillows feel a bit high and hard, but that’s a personal sensitivity.
