The hotel feels nice, with a great and inexpensive on‑site outdoor restaurant and friendly staff; both rooms and public areas are very clean, so I would definitely return. The only downside is that for some it may be a little far from the centre, though cheap local transport is always nearby.

The riverside location and lush garden make for comfortable bedding, yet the staff’s reception and service vary, and the terrace construction noise as well as the traffic outside the ground‑floor rooms are bothersome.

The view, room décor, pool, garden, comfort, and hot water are all excellent, but the food didn’t live up to the place and was only passable; overall it felt a bit pricey for what was offered.

The location is good with a magnificent view, but it’s not very quiet; the lower‑floor room is too noisy to rest during the day.

The room and beds are super comfortable, and it seems the hotel was recently refurbished; the lovely setting, pool, restaurant, garden, and lounge chairs are great, breakfast is good, and most staff are friendly. However, like everywhere in Senegal, only French is spoken, except for one lovely waitress who tried to speak English, and the pool boy is lazy.
