The staff were friendly, and the hotel sits close to good restaurants, cafés, and farmers markets. The bed and room were spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was nice. The parking lot feels sketchy, the carpets look old, and sound‑proofing is minimal; a bit of a refresh and a better parking solution would help, otherwise it’s pretty good.

The place sits in a good spot and was spotless, but the street noise was brutal—had to leave at 1 am. The lounge wasn’t impressive, and the Old Fashioned came with Crown Royal instead of bourbon, which was disappointing.

The beds were comfy, yet our room stayed hot and had no AC; the broken window forced us to keep it open all night, which was noisy. We booked two beds but were not put in the right room, so they moved us to the Varsocona down the road.

The hotel’s location was solid and our room offered a nice view of Whyte Ave, but the bathroom had leaking faucets and the coffee machine was faulty.
