“Excellent location, free parking and very helpful staff, but poor soundproofing and Wi-Fi.”

The spot is excellent, close to Istanbul’s historic center and free parking is a huge plus where parking is hard to find. The staff were very welcoming, helpful, and even waited for us for a very late check‑in, which we appreciated. Pets were allowed without extra charge, which was a big plus. The soundproofing was terrible – we could hear people talking in the room next to us – and the Wi‑Fi didn’t work on the 4th floor. Breakfast was a fixed menu, not a buffet, and it was only acceptable. There’s no elevator; the stairs are steep, which is inconvenient with luggage in this part of Istanbul.

What could I like? Of the four paid nights, one was okay, two had no electricity or hot water, and on the fourth we left. They refused to refund us, claiming it wasn’t their fault, but we stayed anyway hoping it would resolve itself. The third night we were moved to an apartment in a neighboring building where we again had no electricity or hot water, and the smell of mildew was worse. We explained that my daughter was pregnant and it was visible, but they still wouldn’t help. I do not recommend this place for any reason; it’s not the location that’s bad, it’s that they didn’t provide basic conditions, and they won’t refund even when they fail to meet even the most elementary standards of the 21st century.

“Deludente”

The location is excellent, just minutes from Sultanahmet and the Blue Mosque. The terrace offers a panoramic view and the reception staff are very kind and helpful. Breakfast is good, both sweet and savory, served in the restaurant. However, the cleanliness was completely lacking: the bathroom was dirty, towels had stains, and pillows were soiled. We had to use our own towels and a sheet on the bed. The toilet was broken, so we asked for a room change. The Wi‑Fi was weak, and the TV didn’t work in either room. The furnishings look outdated; the photos seem modern, but everything feels a bit worn.

“I wasted my money and had very bad experience with the hotel.”

Only the location was decent. On the first day they gave us a rubbish room because a guest had overstayed, so our room wasn’t ready. We stayed in a terrible room and couldn’t sleep at all. The next day they finally gave us the room we booked, but it had no AC control and the bathroom flush didn’t work. The fridge leaked and water soaked the floor. Breakfast was awful. When I asked the staff if there was anything else we could do, she said there was no choice, please. The restaurant was full of bees, so I asked to take it to the room, but she said no. She was very rude and couldn’t speak English properly. I will stay away from this hotel at all costs. I asked the receptionist if I could speak to the manager or owner; she said he would come that evening, but he never did. Absolutely rubbish service.
