“Alojamiento tranquilo en Mestre Centro”

Room on a quiet building, on the third floor with elevator. Everything is very clean and it’s 2 minutes from the Mestre Centro station, where you take the tram to Venice. The accommodation is fine, but the mattresses should be replaced – they were terrible, hard and the springs were noticeable. The pillows were also a few years old and very thin; I had to put two together to at least support my head and feel somewhat comfortable. I also didn’t like that when I made a request during my stay, no one ever responded.

The location is great – very close to the bus and tram to Venice and the airport connection. Right next to markets, a shopping centre, cafés and the main square of Mestre. The location is truly top. Check‑in was also very smooth. The air conditioning worked flawlessly. The bedding was clean. The best years of this place have long passed. In the hallway there is a frame with a diploma for a 9.5 rating on booking (from 2017 – almost 10 years ago). The place now needs a thorough refresh. The walls are dirty, the bathroom has stone‑eaten elements. There’s a lack of care here. A simple regular replacement of the shower head or the soap bottle would already make it more pleasant. As it stands, it’s ruined. The kitchen is in a terrible state. You don’t want to use anything from it, let alone cook. For a five‑day stay we received two rolls of thin toilet paper. I asked for an extra roll but received no response. Very weak approach. The room had a kettle (of course all in stone), two sachets of coffee and three of tea – the quantity was completely mismatched to the number of guests in the room or the length of the stay. The towels in the bathroom had some discoloration. Additionally, the room was not cleaned at all. After a few days of normal use it looked awful. Lots of dust, a full trash bin, etc. If I had something, I would have cleaned it myself. We’ve stayed in many places in Italy and this guest house turned out to be rather average. There are pros and cons. It’s a base for a quick sleep, a wash, and a departure. The photos look better than reality.

“Ottima stanza in centro a Mestre”

The room was modern and had everything you need, right in the heart of Mestre. Walking from the tram stop takes just two minutes, and you can reach Venice in a quarter of an hour. Parking is available for a fee right under the building, and there’s a bar where you can grab breakfast. The room’s cleanliness could use improvement; one of the two towel sets looked unwashed, and the soaps and shower gel were supplied in tiny squeeze bottles.
