The place sits in a great spot, but that’s basically it. We had a scare when the key was taken by someone else; a spare key was handed over quickly, yet I worried someone else might still have a key to our room. The decor felt tired, no iron was available initially, though one was provided the following day. Prices were too high, and I wouldn’t return.

The shower in room 4 could really use an upgrade.

The bathroom fan and towel rail weren’t functioning; their wall plugs weren’t fully screwed in, making them unsafe. Breakfast disappointed me: no fresh fruit or yoghurts, only one type of fruit juice, just two cereal options with one already sold out, no condiments for the toast, and tea had to be made by hand with a kettle and teabag in a mug. The sausages were frozen, flavorless, and deep‑fried. Several pieces of furniture were broken.
