The cottages are cute and have been nicely renovated, surrounded by towering redwoods, and the atmosphere is calm. The continental breakfast was very simple, the cottage had limited storage for clothes, and there was no coffee maker (coffee only starts at 8:30a) and no small microwave.

The breakfast was decent—just enough protein and carbs, nothing fancy but it worked. The staff left by 6 pm, though.

The property is stunning, with immaculate, modern, cozy rooms that offer peaceful, forest‑like views from the balcony or front yard. The reception staff were friendly and even upgraded us on request, which was awesome. For the price, it’s excellent value, and I’ll definitely return for another romantic escape. The only issue was the lack of a backup generator during a power outage caused by bad weather; we had to use flashlights at night, but the gas‑based heaters kept us warm.
