The bathroom had a serious leak in the bidet that had never been fixed, and on the last day there was literally a lake.

The location was great, but the staff were not always helpful, and the pillows were too high and hard.

The space was beautiful, the staff wonderful, and the breakfast delicious; we also liked the owner’s restaurant just around the corner. The neighborhood was lively and friendly. I get why the no‑laundry rule exists, but it’s hard to manage while traveling in interior Sicily; maybe offer a laundry service that picks up and returns items for a fee. The beds are very firm, but that’s just a personal preference.
