Finding the entrance was tricky because Google shows it incorrectly; you just have to walk around the building, and if someone offers to “help” you, decline—everything will sort itself out. The host was very friendly, greeted us, spoke good English, and all questions were resolved. We asked for breakfast an hour early because we were leaving early, and they accommodated us without any problem, served everything on time, and the breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The room itself was quite spacious, beautifully decorated, everything worked well, the terrace was also nice and convenient. We really enjoyed it and fondly remembered our stay in this guest house.
The stay was absolutely remarkable at every level. The location is ideal, with very smooth car access and a parking lot only 100 meters away, a real advantage in this kind of setting. From the moment we arrived, the quality of the welcome set the tone: the service was flawless, especially thanks to Mohamed, a manager of rare attention, always available, very kind, and exceptionally professional. The value for money is particularly competitive considering the services offered. The riad provides an authentic, almost immersive experience, giving the pleasant impression of traveling back in time while enjoying a perfectly controlled level of comfort. Each suite is carefully designed, with a selection of varied and interesting books and elegant vintage décor, rich in objects that enhance the place’s charm. Finally, the breakfast deserves special mention: complete, tasty, and flawlessly executed. I recommend this address without reservation.
The riad was beautiful, with a spacious, clean room, a large bathroom, and a very generous breakfast. The staff were pleasant, and Simo was especially kind, attentive, and discreet. The location was excellent.
“Piacevolissimo”
The location at the very start of the Medina was stunning, and the rooftop terrace offered a superb breakfast each morning. The owner was exceptionally kind. We’ll definitely go back.
The breakfast was good and the host was friendly and always ready to help when we asked questions. Being close to the Medina exit and taxi services was convenient, and we didn’t have to lug our suitcases through narrow streets. However, walking to the main tourist sites takes about 15 minutes and the narrow lanes felt unsafe; Google Maps also performed poorly in the city, which made us uneasy. The property appears to be in a dead‑end street on the map, and another guest posted directions that you might want to check; the host should probably point this out to future visitors. Finally, the complimentary water for the two nights was a single 1.5‑liter bottle; I think at least one bottle per night would be reasonable.
