The fireplace and the local bath were nice. The mattresses were uncomfortable, there was nothing for coffee, and it smelled like gas.

The lady was punctual. I signed the contract, but where was the agreement for my possession? It wasn’t professional. She didn’t know or wanted to explain where everything was, maybe she was in a hurry. When I entered the house it wasn’t dirty, but the floor looked not very clean. I waved a hand because it’s not the end of the world, just a village. It was great that the house had dishes available, but I had to wash them first because I didn’t want to use them. The house had five beds, but not all were comfortable, and the attic bedroom was very hot (outside temperatures were high), so sleep was difficult. The throw on the sofa and armchairs was irritating and unpleasant for the skin. The small rugs near the sofa and beds kept sliding, which annoyed us until we moved them elsewhere to stop the irritation. I couldn’t find a cloth to wipe the floor… there were no floor or dust cloths to wipe surfaces in the bathroom. When my guest (my sister and daughter staying at a hotel) arrived, three minutes later the host called with complaints… my sister, her husband, and their daughter were shocked… they came for coffee, to relax… an hour, maybe two, on top of that they complained that the agreement was signed with me, not with my sister… I didn’t have an agreement because the host only gave me one paper to sign, which she then took away… at that moment my vacation ended. That person ruined it for me… I also heard that I was a fraud… that was the third day of our five‑night stay. After that I felt just spied on, observed. I was looking forward to the moment I could leave that place. My sister and niece left that day and we, annoyed, went with my husband to find a place where we could spend some time together before she returns to England because we won’t see each other again so quickly! When I was renting the host’s house I learned I had broken point 3!!! Subletting!!!

The house was clean and everything was fine. There was a large fire pit area in the yard. I had to look for the barbecue in the shed, but at least it existed. The photos make it look like there are two bedrooms on the second floor, but that’s not true. It’s one large room with two sleeping zones and no partition.

The house is really at the end of the road, in a beautiful area. It’s a good spot for a countryside break, quiet, away from the noise. You just need to bring your own towel.

Spent a great time here. The place was quiet and peaceful, perfect for resting. The cabin was clean and well maintained, and the surroundings encouraged longer walks.
