Unfortunately, I don't have much to say about my stay at this hotel. It was a completely unremarkable experience, and I didn't encounter any notable issues or positives. Overall, it was a forgettable stay.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's value for money, given its proximity to the beach and the nearby old town. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious and clean. However, I found the area to be quite deserted, which made it inconvenient for dining and shopping. Additionally, the mosque's loudspeaker system blasting the Quran every morning made it difficult for me to sleep.

I was thoroughly disappointed with my stay at this hotel. Although I didn't mind the basic room and service, my issues began when I checked out early on the 26th, having booked until the 28th. To add insult to injury, I lost my card in the hotel and they claimed they couldn't find it, refusing to return my deposit. The staff's behavior was particularly unprofessional, and I was unhappy with the way I was treated, especially by the Malay older woman at the front desk.

My stay at this hotel was a letdown due to its run-down condition and poor maintenance. The old TV was almost laughable, and with no internet and a horrible bathroom, I was unimpressed. Although the caretaker was apologetic about the issues, it wasn't enough to salvage my experience. I'd only consider staying here again if there were no other options available.

I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at this budget hotel. For the price, I couldn't have asked for more amenities and services. The hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of what I got for my money.
