Alpenhotel Plaza, in Santa Cristina, Val Gardena, offers a Sasc wellness centre with saunas, Turkish baths, and indoor/outdoor pools. Traditional Tyrolean-style rooms feature balconies with mountain views, wood floors, and light-wood furniture. The hotel provides free access to a local pool, ice skating rink, and bus tickets. It is 200m from Sella Ronda ski slopes and 17km from A22 motorway.

The pool and spa are fabulous, and the room cleaning is excellent, though you should check the shower drains before handing the rooms over. An overwhelming dog smell in the elevator is truly nauseating—dog lovers understand, but it’s excessive. The food doesn’t match the price; the simple Milanese for my son was very questionable, and breakfast was sparse, with hot salty items that looked unappetizing.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were absolutely amazing, both at the reception and in the restaurant. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, efficient, and professional. They were always ready to go the extra mile to make sure we were happy and comfortable. They helped us with everything we needed and were there for us every step of the way. Their kindness and genuine hospitality truly made our stay special. Highly recommended — we would be very happy to come back!. Thank you for everything!

Very clean, lovely pool area. The common lounge area was pleasant and spacious. Nice sized room for a family, though the bathroom was a little dated. Underground parking for guests was great. The location in S Cristina is ideal and a great base for a holiday. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly - they are an asset to the hotel :). I thought it was generally overpriced … we were half board: the evening menu was fancy but actually it was too rich and I struggled to finish each course. The breakfasts were nice. Buffet area was fine but we noticed midges and flies around the salad bar each day. Drinks were very expensive - €7 for a litre bottle of water. Maybe that’s the going rate, but down the road in Molveno we paid €2 for the same. I was also disappointed that other guests in the room opposite had left a dog alone during dinner. About an hour of continuous barking from a stressed out dog whilst my daughter tried to sleep… this was pretty annoying. It happened on consecutive nights and although staff were informed, it was slow to remedy

Excellent location, very nice staff. The refrigerator in the room didn’t work (we were carrying medication that needed to stay cold, which was important for us). We arrived late in the evening and initially there was no hot water in the shower; we spoke to the front desk and a very kind woman came to check it and fixed it within about half an hour.
