The location was strategic, but the hotel claimed it was under renovation and I saw no signs of it, and there were cockroaches in the bathroom.

I arrived at 8:30 pm, already checked in, then was told to wait because the room wasn’t cleaned; I ended up standing there for an hour before finally getting a tiny single room even though I’d booked a double, leaving me exhausted and in no mood to rest, and the staff seemed old and uninterested, so I just had to be patient.
