The Paradsasvar Castle is a stunningly restored building, very comfortable, and the staff were excellent.

The surroundings and the breakfast selection were good. They charged a parking fee for nothing! Also, one of the pools had cold water, while the small sparkling pool was hot, and the outdoor jacuzzi had to be booked in advance and was extra‑charged—those little extras made the place feel cramped.

The hotel was built as a castle 150 years ago, and although the interior was renovated 20 years ago it still captured the old‑castle vibe—furniture, chandeliers, decorations all matched the historic feel. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, explaining the hotel’s history and facilities. Breakfast was good, and we enjoyed the wellness center with its indoor heated pool (though it’s not large). The room was spacious and comfortable. Parking is free and private. The bathroom feels outdated—you have to climb into the bath, there’s no shower, separate hot and cold valves, and the sink has no counter space for your items. The mattress is old, and the hotel is only partially accessible.
