The house is very calm, fully equipped for a comfortable stay in Príncipe. Salomão and his family are incredibly hospitable, always ready to help. The house is clean and has a lovely courtyard. Don’t worry about the price—it isn’t that the place is bad or lacking; they’re simply charging less. I highly recommend it.

I loved the tranquility of the spot and Salomão’s willingness to help. I was lucky that the house had no other reservations, so I stayed alone. The hot water worked well and so did the internet. The amenities are simple but cover everything we needed. The house is very isolated and far from town, so you need a vehicle to get around; this isn’t a flaw, but worth noting. Salomão was always available to arrange transport for me and even organized a dinner on a day I didn’t feel like leaving the hotel.

We loved the accommodation; the hosts are charming and it was a pleasure meeting them; the place is very comfortable yet still feels like a typical island house.

The surroundings of the house are lovely, with a beautiful forest that hosts blue birds and yellow ones not found in Portugal, and the terrace offers a breathtaking view.

The property sits nicely with a terrace overlooking the jungle, where you can spot birds and see flying foxes at dusk; a private kitchen is clean, and a small grocery shop is right next door. In the garden, you can watch pineapples, sugarcane, coconuts, papayas, and tree tomatoes grow. We had the house all to ourselves, which we really enjoyed! The owner was friendly, always reachable quickly in emergencies, and kept supplying us with fresh fruit like coconut, sugarcane, and passionfruit. One of the two rooms unfortunately had a slight musty smell, but otherwise everything was great—thanks Salomao for this wonderful time.
