The accommodation is near the pier, a 7‑11, and a famous restaurant, so you can walk straight to the pier. The staff were very welcoming. We arrived early in the morning because we were on the first boat trip and wanted to drop off our luggage and then go out; the staff told us the room was ready, so we could check in right away, which was very early. I was very impressed. It’s a shame we only booked one night, but I decided to stay longer, change my return ticket, and stay here again before heading back. I was very impressed—the staff were smiling and attentive, and they helped with car rentals for sightseeing.

I liked the location, but everything felt old and dirty, and the bed was extremely hard.

“Hotel op goed locatie, zonder de mogelijkheid van ontbijt.”

The spot was great, just a five‑minute walk to the ferry and right in the middle of Mae Haad village. On Booking it said breakfast would be included, but that never happened. The receptionist told me the restaurant had closed five years ago, and when I pointed out that Booking still listed it, she repeated that it had been closed for five years. While we were discussing options, she implied that we were leaving a bad impression and that the rooms might not be good for us. That was a strange comment because we were still at the front desk. One of the rooms (we had three) was indeed disappointing; it was very dirty, full of hair, and the room seemed not cleaned, though fresh towels were present. The mugs in the room were also dirty. I couldn't say much more about it. In the end we had a decent stay, but the arrival was a big let‑down.

The hotel is cheap and close to the port, which is convenient, and the staff are very friendly. The room faced the construction area, so it was noisy in the morning. The beds are concrete! Rooms are only made if you ask for them.

“Good location, but the room was not comfortable to stay in.”

The receptionist was helpful and kind. The room itself had a nice balcony and the location was great. The bed was very hard, you could feel the springs through the mattress. It was also a bit inconvenient that the room key had to be dropped off every day to get room service. The shower head was very poor quality and fell apart mid shower.
