Hotell Nordic is located near Norrköping Central Station and city centre. The hotel features a spa with a swimming pool, sauna, and hot tub, plus free WiFi. Rooms have flat-screen TVs, wooden floors, and modern bathrooms. An organic breakfast buffet is served daily. The hotel is close to main roads E4 and E22 and 20 km from Kolmården Zoo.

The room was much nicer than expected, feeling luxurious for the price class. Breakfast was fine, neither too much nor too little. The minibar in the room is an incredible plus. The bathroom was poorly cleaned; the shower had only a small glass door as a guard, which hung loose and let water leak into the whole room even when we tried to be careful. Outside the room door, one or more people smoked every time we entered or left, which, combined with the severely deteriorated exterior of the hotel, gave a very bad impression. There are only two natural opportunities to talk to reception staff—check‑in and check‑out—and both times we had to wait a long time before anyone appeared. The beds were very hard, but that’s a matter of preference.
