I liked everything.

The ground floor exterior was nicely decorated, but the rooms were very old and the cleaning was not great.

The pool and the calm were good, but the breakfast was always the same with a lot of industrial pastries, and the coffee was awful.

Joan, the hotel staff member, was the best part of this hotel; he was always patient and friendly, tried to solve problems even if not all complaints were resolved, and was very professional and kind to guests. Breakfast was fine, and the pool was okay, though I must note that during the 8 days we stayed it was never cleaned. The list of issues is long: room hygiene was below all expectations, with stains on the sheets, lint and dust in corners. The shower tap keeps falling down, which is annoying when standing in the narrow tub, and the water drains poorly. The air conditioning doesn’t pull enough air, which is understandable because there was a large gap between the window and the frame. There is a balcony but no chairs to sit on it. The lift (a tiny lift for a maximum of 4 people for 50 rooms – so 100 guests – is already insufficient) was out of order for half of our stay. The rooms are extremely noisy from the street, a busy thoroughfare, and the price‑quality ratio was not good because it isn’t cheap.
