“Un sejur minunat, peste asteptari”

We spent a few dream‑like days there in August; everything was beyond expectations. The hosts, young and enthusiastic, welcomed us warmly and made us feel like family. The food was excellent— we only ate the “pove” dish, which was always fresh and cooked “with soul,” as they say. Breakfast was rich, with garden vegetables. The room was large, very clean, and free of bedbugs thanks to the hosts’ effective measures, ensuring perfect sleep. The location has a large, clean pool with enough space for a beach, furnished with loungers and umbrellas. In short, we enjoyed a wonderful stay and are deeply grateful to these perfect hosts!

The hosts, Alexandra and Aurelian, are very kind and helpful. Alexandra speaks English well, which makes handling everything easy. The room is clean and spacious. There is a parking spot right in front of the house. The breakfast is plentiful and tasty, included in the room price. You can easily join a Delta tour from a pier just a few dozen meters away—Alexandra helps with reservations, so you don’t have to go to Tulczy port. Meals are served on a nice open veranda overlooking the pool. After a hot day, you can use the pool without time limits, which is great. The only drawback I see is that behind the fence around the pool there are some farm animals, apparently chickens and maybe others. When it’s very hot and still, it’s noticeable. Also, the access road is out of the hosts’ control. To get to La Relian you must cross a ferry in Nufaru, which is a fun attraction, but then you drive several kilometers on a very pothole‑laden road. You really have to watch out not to fall into a big hole and damage your car.

**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional – A place that sets the standard for hospitality** Our stay at **La Relian** was simply outstanding. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed by hosts who clearly take great pride in making every guest feel at home. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, while the peaceful atmosphere of Partizani made it the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy the unique beauty of the Danube Delta. One of the things we appreciated most was the opportunity to experience the Delta beyond its breathtaking scenery. We also enjoyed some wonderful fishing, which made our stay even more memorable. For anyone who loves nature, tranquility, and fishing, this is an ideal destination. The absolute highlight of our stay, however, was the food. Every meal was prepared with exceptional care using fresh local ingredients, offering authentic Delta flavors that exceeded all our expectations. It was, without question, one of the best culinary experiences we have ever had during our travels. Everything—from the accommodation and cleanliness to the hospitality, fishing opportunities, and exceptional cuisine—was beyond expectations. If Booking allowed it, I would gladly rate this property **12 out of 10**. We highly recommend **La Relian** to anyone looking for an authentic, relaxing, and unforgettable Danube Delta experience. The area is very quiet, with a pleasant and friendly atmosphere, and the food is extremely good! Everything was superb. Nothing was left to chance. I liked the whole experience.
