The place looked clean and well equipped, but the garden lounge that was shown in the listing was missing, the area was noisy, a car repair shop was right outside the house, and dogs barked continuously near the bedrooms.

The house was huge and spacious, fully equipped, and the terrace offered an amazing view of all of Funchal.

Staying in this apartment was a wonderful experience – every member of our six‑person family was completely satisfied. The house was modern, exceptionally clean, and superbly equipped. The rooms were tasteful, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms immaculate, and the kitchen met every need. The view overlooking Funchal and the ocean was simply breathtaking day and night. The only small drawback was the steep road to get up, which can be challenging, but that’s typical of the island and the unparalleled view more than makes up for it – it’s absolutely worth it! We wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

The house offered a nice ocean view and had been cleaned by a cleaning service when we arrived. I booked the house hoping to park close by, but the gate was broken and I couldn’t park near the house. I reached out to the owners who promised to check it, yet no one came that day or the next. I asked them to simply open the gate without fixing it, but that didn’t happen either. It takes 5 minutes to open it with the right keys. Because I couldn’t park, I parked nearby. In the morning, neighbors yelled at me for parking on the street, insisting I shouldn’t because I had a spot near the house; the gate issue was dismissed. I don’t recommend this house because of the crazy neighbors and the owners’ lack of response.

The view of the harbor and ocean was beautiful, the apartment was spacious and modern, there were two bathrooms, and parking was possible in the courtyard or at a nearby public lot. The house sits on a very steep street, backing into the courtyard was a bit of an adrenaline rush, but we got used to it😉 In one bedroom the bed was unstable.
