Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Seeblick gebucht. Die Aussicht war wunderschön. Wir konnten sogar aus dem Bett Sternschnuppen sehen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, es gab frisch gebackenen Zopf und Brot. Fast alles waren selbstgemachte Produkte. Es war sehr kinderfreundlich. Die Gastgeber waren sehr liebe und herzliche Menschen. Liebevolle menschliche Familie – nicht aufdringlich, hilfsbereit, man fühlt sich wie auf dem eigenen Bauernhof – man kann sich frei bewegen, die Kinder rennen lassen. Es ist abseits, aber doch so nah, dass man von der Terrasse aus den Bodensee (ca. 2 km entfernt) gut sehen kann – es hat Kochmöglichkeiten innen wie draußen, Frühstücksauswahl ist ausreichend, Preise für Getränke völlig okay – Check‑in und Check‑Out total unkompliziert. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Ob es wieder das Abenteuer Strohbett wird? Mfg Kirchner.

“Clausia is an amazing host, she rules an amazing farm full of surprices for families.”

The farm feels genuine—you can see the daily chores and even help with the cattle. Kids will love the many activities, animals, and games. The spot is great, just 10 minutes by car from the main Swiss sights around Bodensee and Konstanz. The campground was packed with a big family gathering, so finding a decent parking spot was a bit tricky, and a fan in the room would have helped on hot days.

“Absolute rubbish. Total rip off. Not what it makes out to be. Description highly misleading.”

The back of the property offers a nice lake view. However, they charged 20 € more than the advertised price, and the showers are in a separate building across the farm yard. There’s only one toilet for six rooms, and it never had hot water. Our room was cramped, with three beds that had to be combined into one big bed—there was no side to get down, so we had to climb over the end to get in. There was just a stool, no space to move, no mirror, and no lock on the door. Towels cost extra, breakfast was limited in both choice and quantity, and the apple juice at breakfast was charged even though it was on the counter with glasses. When we met the owner, she spent five minutes warning us how bad the place would be, but she didn’t give an honest description in her listing. It turned out to be nothing more than a farmhouse bunk house.
