Location, cleanliness, very good bed, and a view of the lodge 😍. The breakfast was very bad, takes too long to restock items that run out, the fruit was low quality, otherwise everything was wonderful.

The hotel sits right on the beach with plenty of restaurants nearby, and the breakfast staff catered to every request. Overall the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the property was very clean. The downside is that bad weather really limits what you can do, but that’s something you’d know before booking. Also, the shower temperature is hard to keep steady, switching between hot and cold is a bit frustrating.

Everything was great; the hotel is very central, just a five‑minute walk from the pier even with large luggage, and you save a few euros on taxis. Facing the beach, you can hear the waves, though the rooms don’t have sea views, yet the location is still superb. It’s surprisingly quiet for being on a busy avenue, with only natural sounds audible. The pillows had a bad smell, probably because guests leave damp hair on them; they should be changed or washed regularly, otherwise they’re a bit uncomfortable. A drying rack for wet swimwear would be nice, since the room doesn’t dry well in the tropical climate. After that everything was fine.
