Bluff Beach Retreat

We had a wonderful stay at Bluff Beach Retreat! The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was tasty, healthy, and generous. Gluten‑free options were also available without any trouble. The room was tidy and clean and had everything you need. The location is top, right on the beach with nice restaurants and beach bars nearby. You can borrow bikes for free, and you can also walk easily to everything. A fun extra was seeing monkeys and other animals in the garden. Definitely recommended!

Augusto and Ana were very attentive, taking care of everything—getting us taxis, arranging excursions, showing us places, and more.

We had to drive a few kilometers over rough terrain with holes and water, but the effort was worth it; we were limited in time. We had a small SUV. The house and rooms are gorgeous, set in a lush jungle right by the ocean. Everything is designed for serenity and calm. Breakfast is fantastic and varies each day. There are a few parking options, so it’s best to call ahead if you’re driving. No AC is needed—just a fan, and the rooms are open to let the air flow. A great restaurant is nearby, and the hosts are very helpful and ready to give information.

The place was exactly what I was looking for: a retreat, a connection with nature without sacrificing comfort. The best part was Augusto and Anita’s service. The shared kitchen lets you cook at home instead of always going out. Most nearby spots are excellent options. The pool is perfect for swimming. The reliance on bicycles and weather conditions can make it difficult for people who don’t usually ride bikes.
