“当たり！っていう感じです、”

The hotel was designed with dogs in mind. Nijō Castle was very close and walkable. There was no parking, but the nearby coin parking was cheap and good. There was nothing particularly bad, but a bathtub would have been nice.

“最高でしたーー！”

I was blown away by how dog‑friendly the place was—never expected a hotel to go that far for our pup✨ The design was gorgeous, and the owner seemed stylish. The staff were all super friendly and great. The free space in front of the front desk felt off‑limits until I asked, then I could eat breakfast there✨ A quick heads‑up about the free space and drinks at check‑in would be nice☺️ A hook near the door would also be handy for a leash.

“最高の夏休み”

Staying in a room that had a door separating the sofa‑TV area from the bedroom meant I wasn’t jolted awake or bothered by any dog antics, so I finally got a full night’s sleep on my first trip with my dogs. The pups stayed quiet and seemed at ease, which I think the room layout helped with. All the staff were extremely courteous, smiling, and made me feel genuinely welcomed—I’d love to return. The only downside was discovering after check‑in that the room lacked a bathtub, which was a little disappointing, but given the unbelievably low price for a Kyoto stay, I was still satisfied.
