“Great clean hotel in central location in Semporna”

The room had a great view of the waterfront, staff were friendly and helped with an overnight stay and luggage storage, and it’s right in the centre with plenty of food and drink options on the waterfront—perfect for a quick stop while travelling to or from Sipidan. However, be warned that the entrance is hard to get in or out of without encountering many children begging; we were advised to offer them food instead of money, and the area is rough, so we were chased to our taxi by several kids.

“Overall, not bad. Felt safe and relatively clean.”

The spot was handy for meeting the scuba crew, but hauling luggage from the street to the room and back to the dive site was a hassle. The place had a sewage smell, and moving the suitcases was tough both inside and outside. The water shut off during the night and the toilet stopped flushing.

The hotel was decent and close to the port, which worked well for a 24‑48 hour stay. The room was cramped.

The only thing I could say was X, and the only downside was also X.

“Never ever please”

The only perk was its proximity to restaurants. The toilet leaked all night and the flush never worked. The room was filthy and stank.
