Boutique Hotel Stadtmitte is centrally located in Mülheim an der Ruhr, 10 minutes from Duisburg, Essen, and Oberhausen. The non-smoking hotel offers classically furnished rooms with cable TV and private bathrooms. It's a 5-minute walk to Mülheim Old Town and the Ruhr River, with Mülheim Train Station just 800 metres away, providing easy access to surrounding cities.

The location is great, the staff are very helpful, coffee is almost always available, and the parking garage is right below the hotel (public, but fine). The breakfast room is great, but the breakfast itself could really be better! The safe doesn’t work!

The hotel sits right in the middle of town, it’s very creative and boutique‑style, which fits nicely. We liked the living room with the breakfast area, and the shower bathroom is a nice size. We also appreciated that you can open the windows wide. That’s not always possible for understandable reasons, but it’s great for fresh air while sleeping. We had trouble finding the hotel at first. You can’t actually drive right up to it. (We drove into the pedestrian zone late at night; it’s probably not advisable during the day.) I would have liked a body lotion in the shower room and a minibar is always a plus. But those are all “luxury issues”. ;)

The hotel has a very special charm! Try it out!! Unlimited hot drinks all day! Very nice receptionist!! The room is small but sufficient. The surrounding area is just Mülheim city centre.
