It’s a very pretty place, wildlife comes by, and it’s super clean and quiet. It’s a bit remote from basic walking spots, but that didn’t stop us from finding places to eat.

The sleeping spot was unique and quiet, the bed was very comfortable, and it was also very clean. A good base for visiting Calakmul, but it was very dark when we arrived, no lights were on, making it hard to find.

The camp’s atmosphere, the equipment with tables and chairs, the shared toilets were very clean and spacious, and the campervans were well fitted and functional even if a bit cramped, as we expected. Note that the campervan toilets/water didn’t work. The location is a bit tricky to access, and the parking is very small and not really private—perhaps the access codes should be changed. In one of the two campervans a few insects managed to get in. There was water available (very important for going to Calakmul), but it wasn’t replaced during our stay.

The place is well kept, and we never ran out of anything; the host was very responsive and made us feel right at home. It’s clean, comfortable, and I highly recommend it. We should have booked two nights instead.
