The view from Carrubo Cottage and the garden was spectacular, and soaking in the hot tub overlooking the coastline down to Minori and Maiori was a treat. Breakfast on the terrace had amazing views and was delicious—fresh fruit, tasty pastries, homemade lemon cake, eggs, and bacon. The cottage itself was comfortable, spacious, and in a perfect spot for exploring Ravello and the Amalfi Coast. We liked everything, but the kitchen is very small and could be a challenge if you plan to eat a lot there. That wasn’t a problem for us because there are so many great restaurants in Ravello that we ate out every night. Just keep that in mind.

The private terrace is lovely with a fabulous view over the coastline. Breakfast was very good, and there’s garage parking available. Potential guests should be aware that there are a LOT of steps to get into the center of Ravello.

The whole complex, the view, and the breakfast terrace felt like a dream; the property is well maintained and rooms are spotless. If you want to spend your vacation in a garden Eden, this is the place. The hotel also offers a covered parking lot, which we didn't have to pay extra for. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good for Italian standards, though there was no variation during our two‑week stay.

The place itself is beautiful and the view is simply breathtaking. The location is excellent and very close to the town, about a 10‑minute walk up the stairs, but the access is very convenient. A major advantage is the underground parking. Everything is really nice and comfortable, but the main drawback for us was the feeling that there were no real hosts. I arrived on my birthday and there was no acknowledgement or attention from them, which dampened the overall atmosphere a bit. In our opinion, a stay of one or two days is exactly the right amount of time to experience Ravelu fully.
