“Nice, beachy, chill.”

The location is wonderful. It’s very quiet, yet still close to connections to Porto, and it’s very safe. Maria was a great hostess; she was there when needed but not overbearing. Staying in a nice old cottage means you’ll hear other guests, but my bathroom was small, clean, and had everything I needed. I especially liked cooling off at night in the garden while reading a book. The herbal teas were lovely. The ventilator that appeared in other reviews has indeed been installed in the room. The only issue for me was that the soaps had no labels, so I mistook the conditioner for a creamier soap – that’s all.

“I would really recommend this accommodation if you want to stay a bit outside of the city.”

The place was very cute and fairly clean! The area was great, close to a supermarket, bus stops, and the beach. Maria, the host, was very friendly. Even though the kitchen is shared, the rooms with bathrooms offered good privacy. Public transport access was excellent, and I felt safe in the area, even as a solo female traveler. There was a mix‑up with room overbooking, but fortunately it didn’t affect me.

“Cher pour ce que c’est !! Déçue”

The location is great, but the room advertised as Luxe turned out to be far from that. The walls, ceiling and even the end of a toilet paper roll were damp. The bathroom trash can wasn’t clean. This was the most expensive option I’d booked on this trip and it disappointed me the most.

“Lovely stay close to the beach.”

The host was super kind. It’s a quiet spot if you want to escape the crowds. The beach is just an 8‑minute walk and there are restaurants everywhere. The kitchen is fully equipped and they offer free coffee in the morning. I had a great stay.
