The location was good, the pool was nice, and the staff were friendly. However, there were no bed skirts on the bed, and the old box spring was visible. The carpet in the hallways was ripped and torn. When I checked in, a hold was placed on my credit card, but it turned into a hard charge of $165; if this isn’t refunded, I will definitely contest it.

The room was quiet, with adjustable air conditioning, and the bed was very comfortable. The bed linen was pristine and there were plenty of towels. I appreciated the coffee brew bags, the coffee maker in the room, and the mini fridge. Reception staff were outstanding and the location was fantastic! The only downside was that the coffee at breakfast was better elsewhere, and there was slightly less air conditioning in the bar/breakfast room.

I was close to Bourbon Street but far enough away to avoid excessive noise. The pool area was small but usable, and the little bar was nice for a poolside drink. The room was basic but clean, and the bed was very comfortable with nice pillows. If your room faces the parking lot, the dumpster is emptied at about 3am and woke us up all three nights. The breakfast you can buy there costs $15 per person and isn’t good; walk a block or two for better food options.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the location is amazing, and the bar at the hotel is cute and convenient. The shared balcony was also nice. Unfortunately, the room was very outdated and many things were broken, dirty, or missing. The AC didn’t work well on the first day, and some of the lights in the room lacked bulbs. There was gross-looking drywall damage above the shower and in the entryway of the room.
