“Lovely 3 night stay”

Sarah was very welcoming, and the bacon rolls were lovely. The honesty shop was brilliant, and all the animals were happy and clearly well cared for. We enjoyed our own little wooded area, though it was a shame there was a ban on BBQs and fire pits, but that wasn’t Hideaway’s fault. The place was very quiet, and Ambroth Beach is about a 15‑minute drive away while the small town is just 5 minutes away. The compost toilet was a bit of a hassle; we mainly used the main toilets, but it wasn’t a major issue.

The staff were very friendly, and the farm animals added a lovely touch. The farm shop was great, offering a wide variety of white items. We did encounter an issue with our accommodation, but the staff resolved it that day by giving us an alternative tent. The location is fantastic, with the town within a very reasonable distance and plenty to do nearby. Our original accommodation didn’t match our expectations, even though it looked lovely, and we had a slight problem with the aroma and smells on the property. The staff quickly addressed this and provided alternative accommodation the next day.

I really liked the location—a short drive into Narberth and not too far from Tenby, with great coastal walks nearby. The site was picturesque and peaceful. The yurt sat under a lovely canopy of trees and felt very private. A shower in a converted horse box and a composting toilet were provided; the shower was hot and powerful. The fully equipped kitchen was in a separate hut, making it easy to move between all three structures. The yurt’s log burner made it cozy, and a barbecue was available. The toilet was quite high, so I had to use a box to rest my feet because I’m 5’2”. There were no hooks in the shower room to hang a towel or dressing gown. The kitchen was well equipped, though I wish it had a toaster—just a personal preference. The yurt was clean but had a slight strange smell on arrival, and there were several insects trapped in the roof netting, which was a bit sad to see.
