The Golden Garden Inn really is a five‑star hotel with extraordinary taste. It sits 3 km from Caxambú’s center, in a rural area surrounded by a fruit orchard, and the architectural complex is beautiful, all first‑class. The rooms are spacious, well lit and ventilated, furnished with the best. Bathrooms feature non‑slip floor tiles in the shower, a support bar, a slanted mirror and indirect lighting for nighttime comfort, showing the attention to guest comfort. Common areas include a fireplace, bar, game room, dry and steam saunas, dining room, event hall for up to 350 people, grass field for sports, various kiosks, two heated pools (adult and kids) and a swim lane. Breakfast and afternoon tea always have fresh foods, mostly produced on the farm, including natural fruit juices, cakes, sweet and savory snacks. The staff are spectacular—always attentive and ready to serve. The inn also lets you visit the jam, sweets and dried fruit factory run by the lovely Amélia, who greets you with care and professionalism. In short, I can say with certainty that this is a unique and charming place. Treat yourself to the best of Caxambú. The only downside was having to leave!
