The room by the pool was super comfy and the price matched the quality; everything was perfect—staff, cleanliness, location. No complaints.

The surroundings were okay, but on our first day in Luang Prabang we hadn’t exchanged money and only had RMB. The reservation showed a tax‑included price of 164 RMB, yet the front desk said paying in RMB would cost 200 and became impatient and extremely rude when we tried to discuss it, even throwing a pen and paper in front of us. The room was filthy, dust under the bed, sheets smelled bad and even had blood stains, and the shower button was broken. Breakfast was served in a garden swarmed with flies.
