The rooms were roomy and comfortable, and the location was lovely, but we had to deal with people gathering in the corridor outside our room for tea and coffee.

The hotel felt central yet rural, and we really enjoyed our stay; I expected a basic place but it turned out to be lovely.

The environment is lovely and the room was pleasant, but parking was ridiculous – as a resident I would not expect to pay £27 for overnight parking.

Location good. Quite expensive, but likely worth it as I didn't take advantage of the pool/spa so didn't make most use of the facilities whilst there
