We liked the room, and they even allowed pets, so we brought our dog. The food was good, the room was excellent, clean, and tidy. The staff were very friendly. Nothing at all was wrong; everything was great value for money.

The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was great, and the staff were fantastic.

I stayed in a very basic room for the price, and the cooked breakfast was truly awful. The music from the bar could be heard in our room until late, so it feels more like a pub with rooms than a hotel. I was really disappointed.

The location makes it easy to walk into town, and there’s plenty of car parking. The breakfast café serves a fab cafetière of coffee.

The room was friendly, simple, and clean, with tea and coffee facilities. The pub‑style food, especially the burger specials, was good, and it was very handy for a gig at the Regal. The electric shower worked, but the basin’s hot water took a while to heat and the flow was weak. The bed felt firm.
