The location is perfect, but the hotel is under renovation, which wasn’t mentioned at booking. There’s almost no service—just one person handing over keys at check‑in. The price charged reflects the rate from a year ago when reviews were excellent. There’s no warmth, the room has only the bare essentials, and it looks unfinished. There’s no dining, not even a coffee in the morning.

The gaucho staff are very friendly, as is the employee. Breakfast was excellent, the place was quiet, and the location was great; everything was good.

The spot’s right next to the main sights and the shops, which is a big plus. But it’s basically a block of rooms with no windows and no lights, so it feels more like a dorm than a hotel. We stayed three and a half nights and never got room service or power. At least the AC was working.

The place is super convenient, close to everything you’d want to see. The downside? It’s just a set of rooms with no windows, no electricity, and no room service. We were there for three and a half nights and had to deal with that. The AC was the only thing that worked.
