The breakfast rice balls were fantastic – there were about ten varieties, the rice was pleasantly chewy, the fillings were big and chunky, and they were served hot and fresh, which made me think I’d stay again just for them. The female staff member who prepared the rice balls was also wonderful. On the downside, the room lacked a safe and the front desk didn’t offer a valuables‑keeping service. The carpet was dirty, and because it hadn’t been wet‑mopped, wiping it with a damp towel only made the grime more obvious.

The breakfast rice balls were delicious and came in many flavors, so I ended up eating too many; the bed’s firmness and size were just right. However, when I went to shower I saw two hairs in the bathtub – one looked like a stray hair and the other resembled pubic hair, which was disgusting enough that I boiled the water to disinfect it. While occasional oversights happen, I’d expect a more thorough check of the tub. Also, as is common in business hotels, a neighbor’s loud snoring kept me from falling asleep.

Breakfast was good, but the room’s air‑conditioning didn’t work well.

If you’re only using the hotel for a night, it’s adequate, but staying on the second floor made me wish there had been a lift (the emergency stairs were usable in the morning).
