The staff were very nice (Martina) and the owner was great 🙂 The rooms were clean, fragrant, and beautiful. The food was good at super prices. We would love to return.

The location was excellent. The main road was fairly busy even on weekends. Breakfast was basic but varied enough and good. It was close to our main goal: the Battle of Slavkov. The flooded quarry “U Libuše” was a 10‑minute drive – the water was very pleasant and the location lovely. Moravia. The staff could smile more. In the historic building with thick walls I expected a cooler temperature; it was windy and hot all night. The food was good, but given the region I expected local specialties.

I liked the environment and atmosphere at the pension; we came back after a year. The only thing that occasionally bothered me was the traffic noise from passing cars, so we had to keep the windows open because of the heat.

I was excited about the location because it’s a quick hop to Výšková and Brno. The accommodation sits in a courtyard where you can grab a decent meal and a beer, which is great if you’re traveling with kids who can run around. We even played a round of table football (kalčeto) that we used. A short walk from the lodging is a playground and a castle, making for a nice stroll. The rooms were clean and simply furnished. There’s a TV in the room, but don’t expect a hair dryer or a mini‑fridge; bring your own shampoo, shower gel, and an extra towel just in case. The keys were handed out at the restaurant. We stayed in room 1 with a bathroom, but the bathroom was also on the hallway, so it’s possible there are rooms without private baths. Be aware of that if you don’t want a surprise. We visited over a weekend, and it was quiet and peaceful. I recommend this place and plan to return. The military tech exhibition, the zoo in Výšková (the best zoo I’ve been to), and the bob track near Brno are worth the trip.
